The iPhone is one of the safest phones to buy in India if you can afford it. Our reviews rate the latest Pro models 9/10 for screen, camera, battery and speed, and even a 2019 iPhone 11 still gets the newest iOS. The downsides are the price, a 1-year warranty and no returns on Apple's own store.

- Quality: 9/10 — Both iPhone Pro models we reviewed scored 9/10 for screen, camera, battery and speed.
- Customer service: 7/10 — Six Apple Stores plus a large network of authorised service providers. We have not measured repair times.
- Warranty: 5/10 — Only 1 year, and phones bought from Apple's own store in India cannot be returned. AppleCare+ costs extra.
- Availability: 8/10 — About 7% of India's phone shipments in April-June 2026, sold in Apple Stores and most retailers, and mostly made in India.
- Camera quality: 9/10 — Our reviews found natural colours, steady low-light shots and sharp 4x zoom on the Pro models.
- Battery life: 8/10 — Both Pro models lasted a full heavy day with 5G and camera use in our reviews.
- Performance: 9/10 — The A19 Pro and A20 Pro chips ran heavy games smoothly for long sessions.
- Software support: 10/10 — The 2019 iPhone 11 runs iOS 27 in 2026: seven years and counting.
- Display quality: 9/10 — Bright 120Hz screens that stay readable in harsh sunlight on both Pro models.
Warranty
1 year on the phone. AppleCare+ adds 2 years with accident cover; theft and loss cover is also sold for iPhone.
