Joyalukkas is a jewellery chain started in 1987 by Joy Alukkas and based in Thrissur, Kerala. It has more than 200 showrooms in 13 countries and sells gold, diamond, platinum and silver jewellery, plus gold coins. It also sells online at joyalukkas.in, with 14-day money back and exchange on online orders.

Service and support

Returns and refunds

Online orders: 14-day money back, no questions asked, returned through the website or at any showroom in India. Keep the box, bill and certificate; losing the certificate or bill costs Rs 500. Gold coins and bars, silver coins and bars, gift cards, custom pieces, gold nose pins and loose gemstones cannot be returned.

Buyback and exchange

Within 14 days of delivery, online orders can be exchanged for 100% of the invoice value. After that, at showrooms: gold is taken at the day's rate minus the standard deduction; diamonds at 100% of today's rate when you buy new diamond jewellery, or 80% for cash; uncut diamonds 80% or 70%; precious stones 50%; platinum 90% or 80% for cash. Semi-precious and synthetic stones are not bought back.
