Returns and refunds

Online orders can be returned within 7 days of delivery, but only if the order is above Rs 1 lakh. 2% of the taxable value and any bank charges are deducted from the refund. Return it unused, with the box, invoice, tags and hallmark certificate. Gold coins and bars, frames, custom pieces, gift cards and loose solitaires cannot be returned.

Buyback and exchange

Exchange and buyback happen only in showrooms, not for online orders. BIS 916 hallmarked old gold is taken at the day's gold rate; old gold without a hallmark is valued by Khazana's appraisers based on its purity.

When to avoid

Small online orders: Orders under Rs 1 lakh cannot be returned, so buy smaller pieces in a showroom where you can check them first.
