The Gizeh in EVA is the waterproof, throw-in-a-bag version of the cork original. One moulded piece means no cork to protect, so it shrugs off rain, pools and sand. The toe-post takes about a week to stop rubbing, so break it in gently. Support is softer than cork - this is easy comfort, not all-day arch support. At Rs 5,490 flat it is priced on the name, but a pair lasts years.
